Another beautiful day for our 171st clinic in which we sterilized 64 dogs and cats. Dr. Tello sterilized 26 dogs (23 females and 4 males) and 38 cats (23 females and 15 males).

We have now sterilized 7,042 dogs and cats since inception!

In addition there were several pregnancies, animals in heat, tumor removals--and with an 86 lb. male dog, Dr. Tello neutered him AND amputated a front leg.

And with difficulty, Alcides and Don injected the anesthesia into the very wild street dog from Las Perlas. Now no more babies for her! (Puppies from her last litter all died.) We will feed and monitor the dog until we return her to Las Perlas on Tuesday. We had a very LONG day!

Thank you to Dr. Tello, our wonderful volunteers, contributors of lunch and dessert, donors, and all who brought their animals to be sterilized. Blessings to those wonderful people who bring cats from fincas!

My Spay/Panama-Chiriqui clinics are legally authorized by Foundation Spay Panama but are personally financed by me. I do not have a Foundation. There would be the expense of creating one plus an annual cost of approximately $1,000. Instead, I choose to spend that money toward sterilizations and the welfare of animals.

We resumed the Spay/Panamá-Chiriquí clinics at a charge of $10 for cats and $20 for dogs for the benefit of Panamanians, while my actual cost is $25 for cats and $35 for dogs. I absorb the deficits and also pay for street dogs and the animals of our volunteers. Spay/Panamá-Chiriquí clinics are a project from my heart! Your donations are very much appreciated!

 We always look forward to each opportunity to reduce the suffering of dogs and cats due to overpopulation.

Rodrigo Morales, my other right-hand man. Rodrigo takes care of my dogs during clinic days,
    plus he provides transportation to and from the clinic for numerous clients who need it.
